Elvelangs i Ål

A hiking trail with non-toxic lighting poles

Perfect for the installation by volunteer efforts

Elvelangs in Ål is an idyllic handicapped-accessible hiking and biking trail that spans three kilometers along the Hallingdal River, extending from Hallingdal Feriepark to the sports field at Bråta.

For the project, 70 units of WOPAS Handy ø 13 lighting poles with a length of 6 meters were used. The project also requested 1.5 meters of foundation tubes as the excavation of the cable and foundation tubes was done separately by the contractor. Subsequently, volunteer forces erected the poles (approximately 50 kg each) and fastened securing boxes, after which the electrician connected the installation.

WOPAS is the new alternative for power-, tele- and marine poles.
